Tim Henshall

Head of Tourism Marketing (UK)

Tim works alongside the Tanzania Tourist Board and the Zanzibar Tourism Commission as well as the Ministry, TATO, HAT and TANAPA, to increase tourism from the UK.

He is a highly experienced tourism marketeer. For the 18 years prior, Tim ran Kamageo, an award-winning tourism marketing agency which was dedicated to African destinations. He has represented 13 different African countries into the UK market.

Having made over 60 trips to Africa, he has frequently visited Tanzania and Zanzibar, taking in the vast majority of its national parks and major tourist attractions along the way.

Appointed in January 2024, Tim Henshall is a part of High Commissioner, His Excellency Mbelwa Kairuki's UK team.
