Beach & Safari Holidays unveils its latest tented camp in the northern reaches of the Serengeti National Park. Africa Safari Serengeti Kogatende sits within sweeping grasslands framed by hillocks and striking rock formations, right inside the Great Migration corridor, just 16km from the Mara River and 26km from the Kogatende Airstrip.

Backed by an exceptional team, we have poured our expertise and passion into making this opening a resounding success. Built with minimal, semi-permanent structures to minimise its footprint in the Northern Serengeti, the lodge places guests close to extraordinary wildlife encounters and a front-row seat to the Mara River crossing. Between July and October, huge herds of wildebeest and zebra gather to attempt to cross the river, creating some of the world's most dramatic wildlife spectacles. Beyond the Migration season, the riverine woodland and seasonal floodplains provide a permanent water source, so resident wildlife stays year-round, making it a perfect place to visit at any time in the year.

The lodge combines the spirit of an authentic African safari with more comfortable accommodation and convenient access to some of the Serengeti’s most sensational wildlife viewing areas.
