When Serengeti Balloon Safaris was first founded, over 35 years ago there were only 4 lodges in the Serengeti. Its hard to imagine isn't it, but we were pioneers then and continue to be pioneers today.
A few years ago we embraced our founding spirit and launched our balloon flights in Ruaha for the simple reason we feel it is one of the most beautiful landscapes to fly over.
Ruaha is the size of the Serengeti AND Masai Mara combined and yet there are only 10 principal lodges there.
Home to over 10% of Africa's entire lion population, it offers the ultimate dream of vast wilderness with only a handful of people to share it with.
In this vein, when you fly with us in Ruaha, you are the ONLY balloon in the sky giving a heightened sense of exclusivity. What is more you may not even see another vehicle during your flight, just imagine that, wilderness from above in its rawest and most beautiful form.
