Enduata's Wakati Camp upgrades showers to give guests both options.

Wild Wakati Camp has improved its guest tent showers options - each suite now has a fully plumbed-in shower, whilst guests can still enjoy authentic outdoor bucket showers for a more immersive experience.

Matt Wilkey, co-owner, said, “We’ve listened to feedback from guests and operators who have recently stayed. While a classic safari bucket shower is a special experience, it isn’t for everyone, so we now offer both options in our tents. The bucket showers are now outside, so you can watch wildlife while you wash, or let the wildlife watch you. Whatever your preference.

Wakati Camp is located deep in the central Eastern Serengeti, 15km from the nearest road. The camp is set in a pristine area with uninterrupted views that stretch over 60km of open wilderness.

This safari camp was created and is hosted by guides, and the company is half Tanzanian and half UK-owned. Every detail is designed to put the safari experience first, while still offering luxury comforts.

Special opening offers are available for stays booked in 2026 and 2027, including three nights for the price of two. We recommend booking early, as space is limited and demand is high.
