Hodi Hodi is celebrating gaining a community agreement to protect over 65 sq kms of Hodi Hodi conservation area - which seamlessly borders the Wildlife Management Area of Ruaha National Park, in Southern Tanzania - for the next 30 years.

It's peaceful, remote and filled with game including greater and lesser kudu, sable and roan antelope, resident leopard, lion, plenty of elephants and even wild dog passing through, and all the other usual suspects....and very few other tourists!

Special package offer, valid September 2025 - March 2026 :

3 nights Full Board with transfers from & return to Ruaha Msembe airstrip (morning flights from Dar-es-Salaam or Zanzibar-Auric Air, Safari Air Link, Coastal).

Includes 2 full-day game drives and 2 half-day walking safaris.

Accommodation is in double / twin rooms, or family suites sleeping 4, with wide views over Ruaha Park. The rooms are canvas and brick, on stilts, with teak decks, on a mountain ridge overlooking the vast and deserted wildlife area.

Day 1 - Collection from airstrip, full day game drive with picnic. Private game-viewing vehicle and driver guide. Transfer to camp early evening, dinner by the waterhole.

Day 2 - Full day game drive to explore another area of the park, picnic lunch, return to camp, dinner and campfire.

Day 3 - Explore our local area - activities can include : game-viewing at the camp waterhole, trekking with armed ranger and walking guide along the high ridge, bush-walking to our nearby springs and onto the plains. Optional visit to a Hehe / Maasai village to see a unique way of life. Lunch in camp, relaxing around the pool, and an evening bushwalk or game drive with sundowners and snacks in the bush, night drive to camp for dinner.

Day 4 - Early game drive back to the park airstrip for return flight to Dar or Zanzibar.
