Kantabile's new walking safaris & cultural tours

Kantabile Afrika is now operating a walking safari at Cherero Camp. Guests will have the opportunity to explore untouched nature, with endless savannah views and an abundance of wildlife sightings, feeling the fertile soil beneath their feet and the sounds of Wildebeest passing through. All this beauty with the joy of no engine running!

Experienced and knowledgeable guides will lead tailored tours with an intimate sized group. Prices on request.

In addition, from Aurari Camp, cultural tours will visit a local Kuria homestead. Guests will have a chance to meet a traditional Kuria tribe – rich in history, culture and fascinating ceremony. It’s an opportunity to get a small insight into these tribal traditions, listening to their stories and understanding their local ways. From music and dance to simple Kurian life. Price is USD 200 per group (bookings need to be made in advance).

Kantabile Afrika's two properties are owner-run, eco-luxury retreats in the Serengeti.

Cherero Camp (6 tents) - is in a secluded area called the Musabi Plains towards the western corridor, with panoramic 'endless savannah' views, whilst Aurari Camp (6 tents) – is located in the Mara River region of Northern Serengeti.

Co-owners and husband & wife team, Vivian and Godwin, have put their heart and soul has been put into these two camps. Each tent has been lovingly designed and much of the furniture handcrafted by the owners ensuring the guest experience is second to none.

A member of Regenerative Travel, and with environmental and social impact at the forefront, the camps are in harmony and balance with the local community and setting.
