Karibu Camps & Lodges set to open TWO new Serengeti camps in 2026

Karibu Camps & Lodges is pleased to announce the addition of two new properties to its Tanzanian circuit, Serengeti Infinity Camp and Raha Camp, scheduled to open in November 2026 and August 2026 respectively.

The two developments represent a significant milestone for the family-owned hospitality company and will expand the Karibu Camps & Lodges collection from five to seven properties across Tanzania's northern safari circuit, spanning Serengeti, Ngorongoro, and Tarangire.

Opening in November 2026, Serengeti Infinity Camp will offer guests an exceptional location atop one of the highest hills in Serengeti National Park. Surrounded by abundant year-round resident wildlife, the camp will enjoy spectacular panoramic views across the Serengeti's endless plains.

Designed as an elegant and sophisticated tented camp, Infinity will combine authentic safari hospitality with one of the most commanding viewpoints in the ecosystem, providing guests with an immersive experience in one of Africa's most celebrated wildlife destinations.

Opening in August 2026, Serengeti Raha Camp will introduce Karibu Camps & Lodges' first adults-only property. Designed around privacy, tranquillity, and a slower pace of safari, Raha will offer an intimate retreat for travellers seeking space, comfort, and a deeper connection with the surrounding wilderness.

Positioned in an elevated location with sweeping views across the Serengeti, Raha will deliver a refined tented camp experience that balances understated luxury with the warmth and authenticity that define the Karibu Camps & Lodges collection.

The addition of Infinity Camp and Raha Camp further strengthens Karibu Camps & Lodges' presence across northern Tanzania, creating a portfolio of seven experiential properties strategically positioned throughout the region's most iconic wildlife areas.
