Plaza Premium opens lounge in Dar es Salaam's Airport T3

Plaza Premium Group (PPG) has announced its expansion into Tanzania as it launches the country’s first Plaza Premium Lounge at Julius Nyerere International Airport (JNIA), Terminal 3, in Dar es Salaam.
Scheduled to open later this month, the Plaza Premium Lounge will offer travellers an elevated pre-flight experience. Guided by PPG’s philosophy of “Your Destination Before Departure,” the lounge will feature a range of premium amenities and services, including elevated dining and beverage options, comfortable lounge facilities, shower suites, a dedicated prayer room, business amenities and personalised service.
“Tanzania represents one of the most promising aviation and tourism markets in East Africa,” said Okan Kufeci, Senior Vice President (EMEA), Plaza Premium Group. “A vibrant tourism sector is creating the right conditions for premium airport hospitality.”
The expansion aligns with Tanzania’s vision of strengthening JNIA’s position as a premier regional hub for international tourism.
