Tanzania shares their WTM2024 video



Following an eventful WTM2024, Tanzania Tourism UK has released a short video featuring their hastily created stand which captured the attention of so many visitors to the show.


As Head of Tourism Marketing (UK), Tim Henshall explained, "Due to budgetary issues, we weren't able to go into production on the stand until 2 weeks prior to the event. But thankfully we'd planned many aspects ahead of time and we're delighted with the results".

Tim was the first to admit that the stand wasn't without its issues - most of which related to the timeframe, but visitors to the stand were quick to praise it.


Jordan Fry of Wildlife Worldwide stated, "The stand is great. It shows exactly what you can do in Tanzania"


Adele Cutler, director at PinDrop added that "It looks absolutely fantastic. I love the balloon. Picking that one thing to stand out is fantastic. Well done".


Claire Roadley from Umlingo felt that "It gives you a real sense of a place we can all aspire to. The stand looks amazing and makes you want to talk to all the exhibitors. You're a magician to have achieved this in such a short time"


I really like the hot air balloon concept, the giraffe, the lions...it all looks so realistic...and SO creative. I love it" said Maureen Okore, Serena’s new Regional Marketing Director.


Even WTM themselves praised the stand, including it on to their shortlist for Best Stand (for Africa), stating, "It's so distinctive. Some stands could be for just about anywhere, but this is very clearly Tanzania. It feels like Tanzania. A real achievement".
