Tanzania Tourism UK has entered a joint marketing agreement with Rwanda's national airline which will see them sponsor the successful annual Tanzania UK Roadshow; Trade Dinners through the year; and TTUK's monthly news emailers.

RwandAir will also be the flight sponsors for TTUK educational trip programme for 2026 (featuring trips to both Northern and Southern Circuits) as well as their media trips planned for the year.

Tim Henshall, Head of Tourism Marketing for TTUK stated, "Having RwandAir as our official airline partner is a significant move in our efforts to increase trade and media visits to our award-winning destination. We were hugely impressed with RwandAir's proactivity and willingness to work closely together to achieve joint goals".

Simon Rickman, Regional Manager (UK/EU/NA) at RwandAir added, "The airline is keen to engage more closely with Africa travel specialists, and the dynamic marketing approach from TTUK provides that unique opportunity".

The campaign is kicked off by TV celebrity, Anthea Turner, who is returning to Tanzania in January 2026. This time, she will be climbing Kilimanjaro, on behalf of anti-bullying charity, Kidscape.
