The Wilderness Collection in Tanzania has announced that they will be launching Lamai View, a brand-new safari camp in the far northern region of Serengeti National Park mid-2027.

It will be the third lodge in the proudly Tanzanian owned brand, and a wonderful complement to sister lodges Craters Edge in Ngorongoro and Warangi Ridge in the central Serengeti, both recent winners in the Conde Nast Traveler Reader’s Choice Awards. Together the three will offer guests a fabulous circuit.

Located in a pristine area near Kogatende, Lamai View will be perched amongst the kopjes, offering breathtaking views over the Serengeti’s iconic savanna grasslands. Facilities will include a lounge bar and restaurant as well as yoga meditation deck, open air gym and spa, with an infinity pool claiming pride of place.

The all-inclusive lodge will launch with just six tented suites, thoughtfully designed by Les Harbottle who is known for creating low impact, beautiful luxury lodges across Africa.

Each tent will have its own private deck overlooking the sweeping vistas as well as a day bed/Skybed to sleep out under the stars.

Conveniently located roughly 20 minutes’ drive from the Kogatende airstrip, Lamai View is poised to be one of the hottest new properties for 2027, with front row seats to the annual migration, and year-round game viewing in one of Africa's most iconic wildlife destinations!
