Serengeti Balloon Safaris are the oldest and most respected ballooning operator in Tanzania, having run our incredible experiences for the past 35 years. We are proud to be the first and only company to employ Tanzanian pilots full time, with our chief pilot recently becoming Tanzania's first Balloon Flight Test Examiner. 

We are often referred to as the Balloonist's Ballooning Company because of our passion for pioneering new routes, standards and developments in the industry.

Our pilots are truly engaging, professional but entertaining, giving a wonderful commentary during the flight. We have developed the finest launch sites and routes, which makes the most of the experience ensuring extraordinary wildlife encounters.

Each flight culminates in a truly authentic ‘Out of Africa’ style champagne bush breakfast, guests breakfast in a totally ‘wild’ location, which is unknown until the flight has departed. We believe therefore, there is no need for gimmicks as guests are simply blown away every time by our experience.
