In 2025, Zuri Zanzibar marked a year of meaningful CSR milestones, reinforcing our commitment to the local community and advancing long-term sustainability initiatives.

Through more than 20 targeted initiatives, the resort made a tangible impact across healthcare, education, women’s empowerment, environmental protection, and animal welfare.

Notable achievements included a free eye-care programme in partnership with PMP Eyecare, benefiting over 300 patients, expanded support for the Zanzibar Maisha Bora Foundation, and continued contributions to education, from textbooks and science equipment to language lessons and classroom upgrades.

Thanks to your ongoing support, the Pack to Give program reached even more families and schools this year. In addition, Zuri took a significant step toward a greener future with the completion of our solar power plant. This facility eliminates the resort’s reliance on diesel and fossil fuels, enabling full energyself-sufficiency. Utilizing LG battery modules housed in cooled containers, the system allows scalable capacity and long-lasting, individually replaceable units, one of the largest setups of its kind in Tanzania.
