Newly established safari company, Enduata Safari Camps, is set to open its first property - Wakati Tented Camp.

Located in east Central Serengeti, Wakati (meaning "time" in Swahili) "Brings to life everything one dreams of when imagining Africa - vast open spaces, breathtaking wildlife, and the warmth of true Tanzanian hospitality", says co-owner Matthew Wilkey.

The property's other owner, Michael Shayo, is also the manager at Wakati Tented Camp. He brings 13 years of experience as a safari guide, in and around the Serengeti, having worked with some of the largest operators in the region. His local expertise, knowledge, and passion for sustainability and tourism ensures that every guest has an enriching experience during their stay.

As Michael stated, "Wakati Tented Camp has been thoughtfully designed and is eco-conscious. It will offer an experience that is both immersive and deeply comfortable, perfect for adventurers, honeymooners and families alike".

This intimate luxury tented camp, features eight guest tents and two family tents. At the heart of the camp, two communal tents invite you to embrace nature: a cosy lounge/bar and a vibrant dining tent.

The tented dining area and lounge are typically left open to reveal breathtaking views of the surrounding bush, creating a seamless connection with the wild.

The camp will be represented in the UK by Honour Way Marketing. Owner Honour Schram de Jong commented, "We are delighted to be working with Enduata Camps - their commitment to sustainable and eco-friendly tourism shines through everything they do".
