We are excited to announce the official opening of Wakati Tented Camp, the very first property in the Enduata Safari Camps Collection.
Set against the vast and untouched beauty of the Togoro Plains in the central eastern Serengeti, just over an hour from Seronera yet blissfully secluded, Wakati offers a front-row seat to one of Africa’s greatest wildernesses. About The Owners
Enduata Safari Camps was born from a shared vision between Matt and Michael, who met in the Serengeti and immediately aligned in purpose. With over 13 years of guiding experience and deep pride in his country, Michael dreamed of creating a camp that celebrated authentic safari while uplifting local communities and protecting the environment.
Together, blending Matt’s passion for hospitality with Michael’s profound knowledge of the Serengeti, they launched Enduata Safari Camps in late 2024. Their first property, Wakati Tented Camp reflects their commitment to sustainable elegance, local empowerment, and meaningful, memorable safari experiences.
