Foxes Safari Camps, took home a gold and a silver award for two of their films at the International Tourism Film Festival Africa on Friday, 6 June 2025.

Over 450 films were submitted from around the world, which culminated in a red carpet event attended by over 200 people from the film, tourism, and conservation industries.

Produced by tourism and conservation specialists, Love Africa Marketing, the short films formed part of a series to highlight the Foxes lodge portfolio within the remote national parks across southern and western Tanzania.

“We're thrilled to have gold and silver for our Ruaha River Lodge and Lazy Lagoon Island Lodge films. Working together with the Love Africa Marketing to create the films was hard work, great fun and immensely rewarding. We are very pleased to use this opportunity to raise awareness of the Southern areas of Tanzania, with their beautiful sceneries, wildlife and people.” - Jane Fox, Head of Marketing and Sales.

The winners were selected by a panel of 34 jury members, equally representing the film and digital creation industries and the tourism sector. The films were judged on seven key criteria: impact, subject matter, storytelling, creativity, style, sound, and goal effectiveness with scores out of 10 awarded to each entry.
