Mantis Lodge opens near Mikumi NP

Mantis Lodge is a new property located in Mikumi Forests so environmentally it feels like it is inside the national park while administratively it is actually just outside the park.

It is newly built in the area located adjacent to buffer zone of Mikumi National Park , 1.2 kilometers drive from the Tanzania—Zambia Highway.

Mantis Lodge has been designed and built to blend in with its surroundings without compromising comfort and luxurious features to our guests. Its the best venue in the area for special occasions and events such as conferences, honeymoons, holidays and so much more.

Mantis Lodge has self contained rooms well furnished and arranged to suit our guests’ needs.

Rooms have a king- size bed and twin beds, with all the necessary accessories and gadgets to facilitate a comfortable stay

At Mantis, we have highly skilled chefs with expertise in cooking local and

International cuisine.

In collaboration with local partners, Mantis Lodge organises different activities for guests needs including:

• Safari tours to Mikumi National Park or other nearby game reserves including Nyerere, Ruaha and Udzungwa.

• Site seeing tour to the nearby forests and mountains

• Hiking to the Udzungwa and Uluguru mountains which have the perfect stops to

explore the beauty of nature (rare species, water falls) etc.
