A new, wholly-Tanzanian owned camp is now open in Central Serengeti. The African Kongoni Serengeti Safari Camp (or just Kongoni Serengeti for short) is situated in the Lomoti 8 Site, Central Serengeti - one of the richest wildlife viewing zones in Tanzania.

It's approximately 1-hour's drive (35 km) from Seronera Airstrip and just 15 minutes from the Ikoma Gate.

Marketing Manager, Godian Method explained that "Kongoni Serengeti is more than a camp—it is a vision brought to life. Comfort is not an addition, it is an art form. Every amenity has been handpicked to elevate the guest's stay, blending design, soul and the raw beauty of the bush".
