Tanganyika Expeditions launch Kilimani House near Ngorongoro

Tanganyika's new hotel in Bashay - Kilimani refers to Kilimani House, a small, intimate, adults-only lodge in a coffee plantation near the Ngorongoro Crater in Tanzania, offering stunning views, biking, and village visits, acting as a sister property to Bashay Rift Lodge.

It opened in September 2025 with just 12 rooms, providing a tranquil base with activities and beautiful scenery, unlike the older Lake Tanganyika Hotel near Rumonge. 

• Location: On a hill within a coffee plantation in the Karatu area, near Ngorongoro Conservation Area.

• Vibe: Adults-only, intimate, charming, and relaxing.

• Amenities: 12 rooms, pool, restaurant, bar, offering activities like mountain biking, coffee tours, and village walks.

• Sister Property: Known as the "little sister" to Bashay Rift Lodge.
