Tanzania gains huge recognition at World Travel Awards 2025

Tanzania enjoyed an incredible night at the World Travel Awards 2025, scooping an incredible 27 awards including:


  • Africa’s Leading Destination – Tanzania

  • Africa’s Leading National Park – Serengeti National Park

  • Africa’s Leading Big 5 National Park – Serengeti National Park

  • Africa’s Leading Mountain National Park – Kilimanjaro National Park

  • Africa’s Leading Tourist Attraction – Ngorongoro Conservation Area

  • Africa’s Leading Beach Destination – Zanzibar


Of particular note are the awards for Tanzania's "lesser visited' parks which were recognised for their excellence :


  • Africa’s Leading Honeymoon Destination – Kitulo National Park

  • Africa’s Leading Cultural National Park – Ruaha National Park

  • Africa’s Leading Scenic National Park – Nyerere National Park

  • Africa’s Leading Elephant Paradise National Park – Tarangire National Park

  • Africa’s Leading Airport – Julius Nyerere International Airport

  • Africa’s Leading Cruise Port – Port of Dar es Salaam
