Siringit Collection has announced the opening of Siringit Tarangire Camp, a new luxury safari retreat that blends contemporary East African design, locally inspired craftsmanship, and low-impact hospitality in one of Tanzania’s most wildlife-rich destinations.
Nestled within Tarangire National Park among indigenous flora and renowned elephant migration corridors, the intimate camp features just eight Luxury Tented Suites, including one interconnecting Family Suite. Elevated on wooden platforms overlooking the surrounding floodplains, each suite offers ensuite bathrooms with double vanities, indoor and outdoor showers, flush toilets, and private viewing decks designed to immerse guests in the natural beauty of the landscape.
To mark the official opening, Siringit Collection is offering a special introductory promotion of 25% off all new bookings for stays between June 1 and August 31, 2026.
Designed by Belgian architect Bram Bortolin, Siringit Tarangire Camp reinterprets the traditional safari tent through organic, rounded forms inspired by Maasai architecture and contemporary eco-lodge design. The camp’s distinctive egg-shaped tents enhance airflow, soften natural light, and foster a deeper connection between guests and their surroundings.
“For Tarangire, we wanted to move beyond the traditional safari tent typology and create something more contemporary while still rooted in East African building traditions,” said Bram Bortolin. “The rounded forms create a softer, more calming spatial experience while naturally improving airflow and openness to the landscape.”
Interiors, developed in collaboration with South Africa–based designer Meg Vaun, layer natural textures, locally sourced materials, and Tanzanian craftsmanship with an understated, modern aesthetic.

“Tarangire has a rhythm unlike anywhere else in Tanzania, from the movement of elephants across the plains to the incredible stillness and light of the landscape,” said Peter Bruins, Siringit Country Manager. “We wanted to create a camp that feels intimate, design-forward, and deeply connected to its surroundings while still delivering the elevated safari experience today’s traveller is seeking.”
Guests can enjoy guided safari experiences, regionally inspired cuisine, and access to one of East Africa’s most iconic wildlife destinations, celebrated for its ancient baobab trees, seasonal wildlife migrations, and large elephant herds.
