As the great wildebeest migration sweeps south, there’s no better place to be than on the Kusini Plains and that’s exactly where Africa Safari Serengeti Kusini places your clients. This tented camp lies right in the migration corridor within the southern Serengeti, offering front-row access to nature’s most facinating moments.
The camp is nestled on the Kusini Plains in southern Serengeti, just 15 km from the Kusini Airstrip, about 45 km (as the crow flies) west of Lake Ndutu putting it in prime territory for the calving herds.
The migration follows the rains; after November, the herds move into southern areas, and calving typically peaks in January–February, right in the heart of Kusini’s plains.
From the camp’s vantage, guests may even see wildlife from their beds. The 12 luxury glamping tents (plus 2 family tents) offer views across the valley and plains, giving an unmatched “in the wild” feeling.
What the Camp Offers:
Luxury Glamping Tents: 12 tents furnished with local craftsmanship, ensuite bathrooms, inside seating, charging points, safety boxes, and terraces that frame the sweeping plains.
Family Options: 2 larger family tents that sleep up to six, also with full amenities.
Facilities: Bar and lounge tent, restaurant under canvas, free Wi-Fi (in reception, restaurant, bar), solar + generator power, hot water via solar, 24 hr security.
Access & Location: The camp is off the beaten path, giving guests serenity and exclusivity.
